I was fabricated the Thane of Whiterun past Jarl Balgruff. I was in the cave near Morthal (the one with the vampires) with my housecarl Lydia. I don't know if she died or I just got separated from her, merely she's gone. Is there any mode to go her back? Usually if I went up loftier or something and she couldn't follow she'd be there if I entered a new expanse. But it seems she's gone for good this time. Is this a glitch or is she really washed for?
If she'south still alive:
-If yous told her to wait somewhere she's still waiting there.
-If you told her to role ways she's back at Breezehome, and if y'all don't own Breezehome, at Dragonreach.
-If she's but lost, she'll rejoin you the next time you fast-travel.
If none of the above, she'south probable dead. You can doublecheck this past trying to get someone else to follow you. They'll refuse if they think y'all already have a follower (which they'll 'know' fifty-fifty if your follower is nowhere nearby!).
If she is dead, it's no huge loss. Her level locks in when you meet her anyway, and so as the game goes on she gets more and more useless. You should rotate followers like you'd flip a mattress, rotate tires, or become a haircut.
Though she may one twenty-four hour period ruin your wedding.

That vengeful bitch. I'grand glad I accidently killed her with a fireball.I was made the Thane of Whiterun by Jarl Balgruff. I was in the cave virtually Morthal (the ane with the vampires) with my housecarl Lydia. I don't know if she died or I but got separated from her, but she's gone. Is at that place any manner to get her dorsum? Usually if I went up high or something and she couldn't follow she'd be there if I entered a new area. But it seems she'south gone for skillful this time. Is this a glitch or is she really done for?
If she's withal alive:
-If you told her to wait somewhere she's still waiting there.
-If you told her to part ways she's dorsum at Breezehome, and if y'all don't own Breezehome, at Dragonreach.
-If she'due south merely lost, she'll rejoin y'all the next time you fast-travel.If none of the above, she'due south likely expressionless. You can doublecheck this past trying to get someone else to follow y'all. They'll refuse if they think you already accept a follower (which they'll 'know' even if your follower is nowhere nearby!).
If she is expressionless, it'due south no huge loss. Her level locks in when yous see her anyway, and then as the game goes on she gets more and more than useless. You should rotate followers like you'd flip a mattress, rotate tires, or get a haircut.
Though she may one twenty-four hour period ruin your wedding.

-If y'all told her to await somewhere she's still waiting there. To a degree if yous tell your followers to look & they wait for to long they volition eventually return to where you found them. On a side notation I was led to believe that if you delivered the concluding hitting on a follower when downward just not out they would die which is true merely I though that they stayed dead. Yet I don't know if it was a glitch just one of the companions was bugged & wouldn't stop talking to me so I killed him only to discover him back in the companions hall. Of course this was after hours of gameplay & months in game time and so I don't know what happened.I was made the Thane of Whiterun past Jarl Balgruff. I was in the cave most Morthal (the one with the vampires) with my housecarl Lydia. I don't know if she died or I just got separated from her, but she's gone. Is there any way to get her back? Usually if I went up high or something and she couldn't follow she'd be there if I entered a new area. But it seems she'south gone for good this time. Is this a glitch or is she actually done for?
If she'due south nonetheless alive:
-If you told her to wait somewhere she'due south withal waiting there.
-If you told her to office ways she's back at Breezehome, and if you don't own Breezehome, at Dragonreach.
-If she'south merely lost, she'll rejoin you the adjacent time you lot fast-travel.If none of the to a higher place, she's likely expressionless. You can doublecheck this by trying to go someone else to follow you. They'll pass up if they think yous already have a follower (which they'll 'know' fifty-fifty if your follower is nowhere nearby!).
If she is dead, information technology's no huge loss. Her level locks in when you lot encounter her anyway, so every bit the game goes on she gets more and more useless. You lot should rotate followers like you'd flip a mattress, rotate tires, or get a haircut.
Though she may one mean solar day ruin your nuptials.

It would be a adept update/option to "magically" call up your companion to a pre-set checkpoint / safehouse. To a degree if you tell your followers to expect & they wait for to long they will eventually return to where yous found them. On a side annotation I was led to believe that if you delivered the terminal hitting on a follower when down but not out they would dice which is truthful just I though that they stayed dead. However I don't know if information technology was a glitch but one of the companions was bugged & wouldn't finish talking to me and then I killed him simply to find him back in the companions hall. Of course this was after hours of gameplay & months in game time so I don't know what happened.
